WOLF CREEK, Ore. (AP) — The Josephine County sheriff’s office says a 51-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after reporting she’d been wounded while standing on her rural property near Wolf Creek.

The sheriff’s office said the woman was listed in fair condition after the shooting Sunday.

Deputies say they conducted a search and didn’t find out who fired the shot. But they say don’t believe the public at large is at risk.
