Evelena and the Rev. Charles Hunter

Evelena LeCocq Hunter died Nov. 10, 2011, while her husband, the Rev. Charles William Hunter, died Nov. 21, 2011.

A memorial service for both will be held Dec. 6, at 1 p.m., at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Washougal. A committal service and interment of ashes will be Dec. 29, at 2 p.m., at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Bellingham. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Crematory in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Episcopal Relief and Development Fund, NARAL or the Whatcom County YWCA.

Leah M. Barlow

Leah Mae Barlow died peacefully with her family by her side Nov. 26, 2011, at her home in Camas. She was 81.

There will be an open house reception Saturday, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Brown’s Funeral Home, 410 N.E. Garfield St., Camas. Dress attire is casual. Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Michael B. McCary

Michael B. McCary died Nov. 18, 2011, at home in Washougal, after a courageous 11-month battle with glioblastoma brain cancer.

There will be a celebration of Mike’s life Friday, at 2 p.m., at Camas Assembly of God Church, 500 S.E. Everett Road, Camas.

Elsie V. Bloomquist

Elsie V. Bloomquist died Nov. 22, 2011. She was 96.

Marriah Buhman

Marriah Buhman, daughter of Deborah Hotchkiss, Portland, and Jay Buhman, Vancouver, died Nov. 22, 2011, in a tragic house fire in Washougal.
