Give blood, see bodies and brains at OMSI for free

People who donate blood this week will receive tickets to see bodies and brains at OMSI.

The American Red Cross is partnering with Gunther von Hagens’ Body Worlds & The Brain, an exhibit currently at OMSI in Portland. All blood and platelet donors who make a donation sometime through Saturday will receive one free ticket to the exhibit.

The Clark County donor center is at 5109 N.E. 82nd Ave. in Vancouver.

Body Worlds & The Brain includes more than 200 authentic human specimens, including entire bodies, individual organs and transparent body slices preserved through von Hagens’ plastination process.
