The Camas Educational Foundation’s annual auction is back, but with a few changes.

For starters, it will be a more casual affair, with attendees encouraged to wear “denim and diamonds.”

It ties in with the raffle event, which is a $2,300 denim and diamond package from Lily Atelier and Michael Nutter Jewelry.

Raffle tickets are $10 each and sales are limited to 500.

“Let’s Do Amazing. Together.” is the theme.

“We are counting on the Camas community to don their denim and diamonds and join us for an exciting night,” Auction Chair Mandy Huth said.

Tickets to Saturday’s event are $42 per person and include live entertainment, a carving station, hosted wine bar, buffet style hors d’oeuvres and desserts.

“This is a great opportunity to mingle with friends and support excellence and innovation in education,” Huth said.

Last year, CEF distributed more than $50,000 in grants to educators across the Camas School District. In addition, this year’s collective bid will be used to supplement science education across the district.

Attendees can register online at www.cefcamas.org or call 335-3000, Ext. 79915. The event will begin at 6 p.m. at The Fairgate Inn, 2213 N.W. 23rd Ave., Camas.
