Letter: War against rich will cost jobs

The Columbian
Published: October 10, 2011, 5:00pm

In response to Celia Louderback’s Oct. 9 letter, “GOP is waging war on Obama’s plan” and the attitude against the rich, I would like to bring up the fact that 48 percent of our taxes are paid by 1 percent of our population. The war against the rich, if successful, will cost millions more jobs. They don’t need us near as much as we need them to continue to be rich. Have you ever worked for a poor man? Quit whining and start working to be one of them.
