DALLAS (AP) — The Dallas Stars activated rookie forward Scott Glennie from injured reserve and assigned him to the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League before their game against St. Louis on Thursday night.

Glennie, Dallas’ first-round pick in 2009, went on IR on Oct. 3 with an upper-body injury.

The 20-year-old played four regular-season games and six in the playoffs for the Texas Stars last season and awaits his NHL debut.
