Miller stops 40 shots, leads Sabres past Canadiens

MONTREAL (AP) — Thomas Vanek scored just before the end of the second period and Ryan Miller made 40 saves to lead the Buffalo Sabres to a 3-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night.
