HOUSTON (AP) — Yuniesky Betancourt left Milwaukee’s game against the Houston Astros on Friday night in the eighth inning after being plunked on the right arm.

The Brewers were leading 5-2 when David Carpenter hit Betancourt on the first pitch of his at-bat. Trainers tended to him on the field for a couple of minutes before he walked to the dugout.

Craig Counsell took his place at first base.
