NICHOLS, N.Y. (AP) — See You At Peelers was disqualified for interference in the stretch and dropped to second Sunday night after appearing to win in her first race following her first career loss.
New Album was given the victory in the New York Sire Stakes for 3-year-old pacing fillies at Tioga Downs.
Driven by Jim Morrill Jr., See You At Peelers held off New Album by a head in 1:52.3 over a sloppy track, but was ruled to have drifted into New Album’s path during the stretch drive.
See You At Peelers was 22-0 before finishing sixth behind Idyllic on Aug. 29 in the Nadia Lobell Stakes at The Meadows in Washington, Pa.
