BOSTON (AP) — Boston College wide receiver Ifeanyi Momah (ee-FAW’-nee MOH’-muh) will miss the rest of the season after tearing a ligament in his left knee in the season opener against Northwestern.

Momah led BC with eight catches for 171 yards in the 24-17 loss to the Wildcats.

The fifth-year senior also missed the entire 2009 season with a knee injury. The school said it would apply to the NCAA for a waiver so he could play next year.
