JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Quintin Davis caught a 42-yard touchdown pass from Josh McGregor with 4:20 remaining Saturday to give Jacksonville a 37-30 victory over Charleston Southern.

After the teams exchanged punts on the next two possessions, Blythe Weaver sacked Charleston Southern’s Malcolm Dixon for a 9-yard loss after the Buccaneers (0-3) had reached their 45. Colby Walden intercepted Dixon’s pass on the next play at the Jacksonville 36.

Walden also started the scoring for the Dolphins (1-2) with a 93-yard return of the opening kickoff.

Two rushing touchdowns by B.J. Hackworth and Dixon’s 25-yard pass to Carson Leshin gave Charleston Southern a 20-17 lead with 2:23 left in the third quarter. Neither team led by more than a touchdown after that.

Jacksonville’s J.J. Laster carried 25 times for 128 yards and a touchdown.

Dixon carried 27 times for 163 yards and was 9-of-14 passing for 84 yards for Charleston Southern.
