Sijsling eliminates Kohlschreiber at Moselle Open

METZ, France (AP) — Dutch qualifier Igor Sijsling eliminated seventh-seeded Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany 6-4, 7-5 on Thursday to advance to the quarterfinals of the Moselle Open.

Sijsling hit 10 aces on his way to victory and broke Kohlschreiber once in each set.

Sxith-seeded Xavier Malisse of Belgium also advanced with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Igor Kunitsyn of Russia.

Malisse will play third-seeded Alexandr Dolgopolov of Ukraine, while Sijsling will face fourth-seeded Ivan Ljubicic of Croatia.
