Members of Jesse Joseph Klein’s family say he’s been missing since Aug. 25, and they are worried.

“The whole family is saying, ‘There’s something wrong; he just would not do this,’” said his wife, Felicia Klein, who said she’s been left with their 8-month-old daughter, Israel.

She said her husband, 29, went to a hospital for help with back pain that morning and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

In addition, she said, he’s been without work and there has been no activity on their credit card or food-stamp card.

Their home is in the Rose Village neighborhood.

He has a number of misdemeanor cases filed against him in the past several years in Clark County District Court, but none in Superior Court, records show.

Jesse Klein is white and 5 feet 11 inches tall, with hazel eyes and dark-brown hair. He has tattoos on his arms and legs. The name of their son, Isaiah, who died as an infant, is tattooed on his back.

Vancouver police did not immediately return a call from The Columbian seeking an update in the case.

Anyone with information is asked to call his uncle, Cory Lockwood, at 360-225-6979.
