Letter: True Americans?

The Columbian

The recent and ongoing union controversy in Longview raises some questions. The unions in America have always bloviated about how American they are. The Longview Longshoremen broke into a private business and destroyed property. They then denied it, but after all the evidence was in, a judge ordered the union to stop their illegal activity. The union went on with its thuggery, and the judge found the union in contempt of court.

Ignoring the law, the so-called law-and-order union went about its business of blocking trains, destroying property and resisting arrest for illegal activities. Now they want to sue the Longview police and sheriff department for brutality.

Yes, these union members are really good law-and-order Americans. Not.
