NEW YORK (AP) — The logo for the 2014 Super Bowl at the Meadowlands will feature the George Washington Bridge connecting New York and New Jersey.
The logo and advertising for the game at MetLife Stadium was unveiled Tuesday at a news conference at a restaurant in the Museum of Modern Art.
NFL owners awarded the game to the $1.6 billion venue in East Rutherford, N.J., in May 2010. It will be the first Super Bowl in the northeast United States. The stadium has no roof.
New York Jets owner Woody Johnson says, “The world will be waiting for us to screw up because this is the first cold-weather Super Bowl.”
