NAPLES, Italy (AP) — Emirates New Zealand won both Fleet Races on Thursday to move nine points clear of second-place Oracle Spithill after the second day of the America’s Cup World Series off Naples.

Oracle Spithill finished seventh in the first race and fourth in the second.

Luna Rossa Piranha of Italy beat Team Korea in the head-to-head Match Races to advance to the semifinals against Oracle Spithill, which beat Oracle Bundock.

The World Series allows teams to race regularly and promote the America’s Cup to help attract sponsors. The Naples leg ends Sunday.
