BEREA, Ohio (AP) — The Cleveland Browns added offensive line depth in the fifth round, selecting Colorado guard Ryan Miller with 160th overall pick.
The 6-foot-7, 321-pound Miller made a school record 47 career starts for the Buffaloes. A team captain, he played mostly right guard the last two seasons. Miller said he can play guard or tackle, and says his reach gives him a big advantage against defenders. Miller gave up just five sacks in 3,320 career plays at Colorado.
Miller played one of his finest games in college against Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh, now with the Detroit Lions.
A former wrestler, Miller said he’ll “bleed, bite, crawl and scratch” to get the job done. He graduated with an anthropology degree in 2011.
