Forest Grove man arrested in state park theft

HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) — A Forest Grove-area man was arrested Monday on a theft indictment accusing him of taking a trail construction machine and trailer last November from L.L. Stub Stewart State Park.

Oregon State Police say 67-year-old Donald Lee Goodwin was booked into the Washington County Jail.

The $80,000 construction machine was recovered and returned to Northwest Trail Alliance.
