A man had to be reminded Monday he shouldn’t be shooting a bow and arrow in the Vancouver city limits.

Police responded to a reported reckless endangerment around 11:40 a.m. at Northeast 143rd Avenue and Northeast 15th Circle near Evergreen High School.

A man was reportedly shooting an archery target in a cul de sac in a residential area, said Kim Kapp, Vancouver police spokeswoman. “He just apparently didn’t know that he wasn’t supposed to be shooting a bow and arrow in a neighborhood even with a target.”

After a quick chat with police, the man agreed to stop, Kapp said.
