NASCAR reinstates Fike, 5 years after suspension

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — NASCAR has reinstated Aaron Fike, the Truck Series driver who was suspended in 2007 following an arrest on drug charges.

NASCAR announced the news Tuesday in a two-sentence statement, saying Fike has completed the stock car racing governing body’s substance abuse road to recovery program.
