AUBURN, Ala. (AP) — Auburn center Reese Dismukes has been arrested for public intoxication eight days before Auburn’s first game against Clemson.
The Lee County’s sheriff’s office said that the starter was released on a $300 bond. It did not offer further details.
The Opelika-Auburn News (http://bit.ly/RMQNJX ) reports Saturday that Dismukes was one of the few certainties on Auburn’s offensive line. His backup is sophomore Tunde Fariyike.
Dismukes did not return a message seeking comment. Auburn University officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
