DHAKA, Bangladesh (AP) — Bangladesh won’t play cricket matches in Pakistan next month because of security concerns.
Earlier this month, Bangladesh had made a preliminary agreement to play a one-day international and a Twenty20 match against Pakistan.
However, the head of the Bangladesh Cricket Board said Monday he has already informed Pakistan about the decision in a letter.
No international cricket match has been held in Pakistan since 2009 after gunmen attacked the Sri Lankan team in Lahore.
