ASHLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police in say the reward fund in the killing of a young man last year on an Ashland bike path is expected to hit $15,000.

Chief Terry Holderness tells the Ashland Daily Tidings (http://bit.ly/zp78sb ) he hopes the reward shakes loose some information. He says investigators have a diminishing number of leads to run down, and there’s still no suspect.

The reward is for information about the killing in November of 23-year-old grocery clerk David Grubbs, who was nearly decapitated.

The paper reported Monday the fund is at $10,000, and Holderness says he expects a $5,000 donation in addition.
