Bostic, Stephen F. Austin hold on for 59-51 win

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Stephen F. Austin nearly saw the 15-point lead it built at halftime dissolve, but managed to hold on with an 8-4 run in the final two minutes for a 59-51 victory over USTA on Saturday.

Antonio Bostic led the way for Stephen F. Austin (14-10, 8-3 Southland West) with 19 points and Darius Gardner added 10. Both players had three 3-pointers. Jonathan King grabbed eight rebounds.

USTA (15-10, 7-4) had three double-figure scorers — Jeromie Hill (13), Kannon Burrage (12) and Stephen Franklin (10).

Stephen F. Austin hit 8 of 17 3-pointers, scored 15 points off turnovers and had a 32-25 rebounding advantage.
