In OT, N. Colorado thumps Montana St. 77-64

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Tate Unruh scored 20 points as Northern Colorado snapped a three-game losing streak with a 77-64 overtime victory over Montana State on Saturday.

Tevin Svihovec added 15 points for Northern Colorado (8-16, 5-8 Big Sky), which outscored Montana State (11-12, 6-6) 22-9 in overtime.

Mike Proctor contributed 13 points and 13 rebounds for the Bears, who avenged an 84-72 loss to the Bobcats on Jan. 21. It was Proctor’s second double-double of the season and the fourth of his career.

Shawn Reid led Montana State with 18 points. Jeff Budinich had 12 points and Mohamed Fall 10 for the Bobcats, who lost their fourth straight.

The game was tied 55-all at the end of regulation.
