COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated defenseman Brett Lebda off injured reserve and placed goaltender Curtis Sanford on injured reserve.
The club announced the moves Monday, retroactive to Feb. 9, when Sanford suffered an upper body injury in a home loss to Dallas.
He’s missed the past three games and is listed as day-to-day.
Lebda missed five games due to a hand injury suffered in an overtime win at Anaheim on Feb. 3. He has one goal in five games since signing with Columbus on Jan. 19.
He also has played for Detroit and Toronto, and has 20 goals and 53 assists in 372 career NHL games.
