Boys basketball: Ridgefield 66, Kalama 61 (OT)

The Spudders had to work an extra frame to capture the 1A district title.

After being up by eight points in the fourth quarter, Kalama put on the pressure and caught up.

Ridgefield missed two shot in its final possession and the game went into overtime.

Michael Potter led four Ridgefield players in double figures with 19 points. Sam Landerholm had 16, Max Ballantyne 14 and Michael Schwinof 12.

Ridgefield next plays in the regional tournament on Friday at W.F. West.
