2-alarm Spokane Valley fire was caused by sparks

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. (AP) — Investigators have determined that a two-alarm fire at the Industrial Systems and Fabrication business in Spokane Valley was caused by sparks from grinding metal.

The sparks smoldered and erupted into flames Monday night when no one was inside.

KREM reports (http://is.gd/IlcSew ) damage is estimated at about $150,000.
