CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Police in Clarksville arrested two former soldiers in connection with the robbery of a bank outside Fort Campbell. Both were recently released from military prison.

Officers arrested Obryant Elijah Davis of North Carolina and Edwin Collazo-Hernandez of Dupont, Wash. Both are jailed in Clarksville.

Police said the US Bank on Fort Campbell Boulevard was robbed Thursday morning by two men wearing gloves and camouflage clothing. Police described it as an aggressive robbery in which the men pointed handguns on employees and customers and forced employees into a vault.

Keith Pannell, a military spokesman at Fort Sill, Okla., said the two had been released from prison within the last two weeks. Davis served six months on 12 larceny charges and Hernandez served 15 months on five drug charges.
