TORONTO (AP) — The Toronto Blue Jays have signed pitcher Brandon Morrow to a three-year contract worth $20 million.

The team announced the signing Tuesday, saying it includes a $10 million club option for the 2015 season.

But the right-hander also set career highs in wins (11), innings pitched (179.1) and strikeouts (203).

On Monday, the Jays announced the signing of 44-year-old infielder Omar Vizquel to a one-year minor league contract.
