Salmon Creek — The Three Creeks Community Library had a birthday. The library first opened to the public on Jan. 12, 2002. To mark the popular library’s 10-year anniversary, the Friends of Three Creeks Community Library group presented a cake at the Fort Vancouver Regional Library District board of trustees meeting on Jan. 9. In 2011, the library welcomed nearly 330,000 visitors and circulated 442,500 items said Sue Vanlaanen, communications director for the FVRL District.
