SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (AP) — Jasmine Penny scored 19 points and No. 23 DePaul avoided its longest losing streak since the 2003-04 season by holding off Seton Hall 71-59 on Saturday.

Anna Martin added 18 points and Katherine Harry had 13 points and 13 rebounds as the injury-ravaged Blue Demons (16-6, 4-4 Big East) snapped a three-game slide, which matched their longest since 2007-08.

Brittany Hrynko hit two long 3-pointers late and finished with 13 points for DePaul, which had a 13-point second half lead trimmed to one.

Terry Green scored 18 of her career-high 21 points in the second half for Seton Hall (7-15, 0-8), which dropped its 10th straight. The losing streak ties the longest for the Pirates since the end of the 2007-08 season.
