CALGARY, Alberta (AP) — Jiri Hudler has landed with the Calgary Flames.
The 28-year-old center signed a $16 million, four-year deal with Calgary on the second day of NHL free agency.
Hudler has played 409 NHL games, all with Detroit, and has 87 goals and 214 points. He finished with 25 goals and 50 points in 81 games for the Red Wings last season.
Flames general manager Jay Feaster calls him “one of the very best goal scorers in the NHL at even strength.”
