Columbian website experiencing problems

The Columbian’s website is experiencing outages that are affecting some users, depending on their service providers.

The problems developed midday Monday, when The Columbian changed its domain registrar. That change triggered a series of events outside the company’s control that affect delivery of the website by all major Internet service providers.

As a result, many users of the website have been unable to view columbian.com, and receive a message that makes it appear that the site is not operational.

The Columbian is working with local Internet service providers to restore website access as quickly as possible.
