Rose City Classic Chevrolet, a local Vancouver- and Portland-based car club, presented the Ray Hickey Hospice House with a $40,000 check at Portland International Raceway Wednesday evening during the Beaches Cruise In.

The club raised most of the money at its Woodland Planters Days Charity Car Cruise on June 16-17 in Woodland.

In the past 12 years, the car club has donated more than $150,000 to local charities and organizations.

The Ray Hickey Hospice House is operated by PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
