American John Isner reaches 3rd round at Olympics

WIMBLEDON, England (AP) — John Isner of the United States hit 15 aces Monday and reached the third round of the Olympics by beating Malek Jaziri of Tunisia, 7-6 (1), 6-2.

Isner, seeded 10th, lost only 16 points in his 11 service games. The victory came on Court 1, the first time Isner has played in one of Wimbledon’s two largest stadiums.
