Letter: Tighten control of gun sales

The Columbian
Published: July 31, 2012, 5:00pm

Forget condolences for the Colorado shootings. This is a sad time, but it will happen again unless we hear it for gun control. Why are the politicians so afraid of the National Rifle Association? Our Founding Fathers had muskets, not Uzis. Citizens need to demand more oversight on who can get weapons that are designed to do one thing — and that is to kill other humans.
