CHICAGO (AP) — Jared Sullinger sounds like a guy with something to prove.
The former Ohio State star says he feels like the “bad guy in every gym” but wanted to make one thing clear with the NBA draft approaching this month. There really are some strengths to his game.
Sullinger believes the draft combine in Chicago this week went a long way toward easing concerns about him as he takes the next step after two standout seasons in college. He says it “answered questions about who I am, how high I can jump or how tall I am.”
A two-time All-American forward, he decided to forgo his final two seasons with the Buckeyes. He was widely projected as a top 10 pick had he turned pro a year ago. But now? That’s up in the air.
