A woman was trapped under a tractor for about 45 minutes Thursday after it rolled over into a dry creek bed in the Amboy area, according to Clark County Fire District 10.

“It appears she may have had an accident and been trapped for about 45 minutes before someone found her,” said Chief Gordon Brooks of Fire District 10.

Brooks said the woman had mostly soft tissue injuries and had likely escaped internal injuries.

The woman was mowing the lawn at her residence at 41518 N.E. Ira Jones Road in unincorporated Clark County when the tractor flipped at the edge of a driveway and fell into the nearby creek bed, Brooks said. A man found the woman and called paramedics around 7:30 p.m.

North Country EMS and Fire District 10 responded to the scene. The woman was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Her name was not released.
