A Vancouver woman was injured Saturday when her vehicle hit a barrier and overturned on the ramp from northbound Interstate 5 to eastbound state Highway 14, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A WSP bulletin said April R. Langston, 37, was driving a 1994 Honda Passport on the ramp at 3:09 p.m. when the vehicle went off the roadway and went up a hill, where it struck a barrier and rolled onto its top.

Langston, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a possible head injury and was taken by ambulance to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, the WSP said. She was treated and released.

The Honda was totaled. The WSP said drugs or alcohol were not involved, and blamed the crash on excessive speed.
