Driver flees fatal crash near Sedro-Woolley

SEDRO-WOOLEY, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol is looking for the driver of a car that ran off a road near Sedro-Woolley, killing the passenger.

The patrol says the car landed upside down in a slough about 3 a.m. Monday and the driver fled on foot.

Trooper Keith Leary told the Skagit Valley Herald (http://is.gd/TjP7tC) the driver made a phone call and told someone about the accident.

Detectives are speaking with that individual.

The dead man has been identified as 19-year-old Cameron Sheridan of Sedro-Woolley.
