A local resident who has been involved in photography, volunteering at the Camas Farmer’s Market and teaching people to eat well is the newest sales associate for the A.L. Insurance Group, Inc.

Minda Coombs has opened her office in downtown Camas.

“I love our community, the people, the trails, the schools and the downtown,” she said. “I am very, very happy to have my business in the heart of downtown.”

Coombs, a Camas resident for 12 years, sells auto, property, commercial, life and health insurance. Providers include Pemco, Safeco, Grange, Travelers, Allied, Hartford, Progressive, Lifewise, Regence, Kaiser and Medicare.

“We write a wide range of commercial accounts, doing a lot of contractor’s bonds,” Coombs said.

“Building relationships and helping people solve problems and create opportunities is what A.L. Insurance is about,” she added. “I enjoy helping people protect their assets, identifying risks so they are properly insured when unexpected events occur. I am passionate about helping families with their life insurance needs. An unexpected death shouldn’t cause financial turmoil on top of an emotional loss.”

A.L. Insurance Group, Inc., was founded in 1985 in Hazel Dell. The local office, located at 418 N.E. Fourth Ave., is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, contact Coombs at 718-9464, Ext. 104, or mcoombs@alinsure.com.
