MIAMI (AP) — Chris Bosh is back with the Miami Heat after missing three games to deal with his grandmother’s death.
Bosh plans to play Tuesday night when the Heat host the New Jersey Nets. He worked out at the team’s arena and watched some tape on Monday, then was with his teammates for their shootaround practice Tuesday morning.
Bosh says he “took some time to refresh” his mind in recent days and thinks that may help him in the second half of the season.
Heat teammates say they were thrilled to see Bosh again. Dwyane Wade says he “had a little bromance moment” when he saw Bosh at practice.
Bosh is averaging 18.4 points and 8.3 rebounds this season for Miami.
