Kiggins Theatre to host Vancouver mayor’s State of City on March 16

Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt will deliver the 2012 State of the City address at the historic Kiggins Theatre on March 16.

The speech “Pride, Progress and Possibilities,” will run from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Kiggins Theatre is at 1011 Main St. Seating is limited and RSVPs are required via CityHallRSVP@cityofvancouver.us.

Those unable to get in can watch the speech at North Bank Artists Community Gallery, 1005 Main St.

The event is free but there is a suggested $5 donation at the door to benefit the Early Childhood Education & Assistance Program.

The State of the City will also broadcast on CVTV (Comcast cable channels 21 and 23 in Vancouver).
