INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana Pacers reserve center Jeff Foster is expected to miss at least a week with a sore lower back.
Pacers coach Frank Vogel said Foster had a recent procedure to fix the ailment, and he could be out for two weeks and possibly more. He already had missed three of the past four games and will sit out Tuesday night’s game against Atlanta.
The 13-year veteran has played in just 11 games this season because of injuries, averaging 2.3 points and 3.8 rebounds.
Vogel said Lou Amundson will continue to play more minutes in Foster’s absence.
