EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A Camano Island farm that grows basil sold fresh — roots and all — in markets across Washington is back in business after a fire destroyed nearly everything.

Utsalady Farm grows basil in a greenhouse hydroponically, in a solution of nutrients instead of soil. The plants are sold in Haggen and Top Foods stores.

Business partners Tim Rawls and Stewart Conway told The Daily Herald (http://is.gd/oCLS42 ) business returned to full swing this winter after the fire in May destroyed their greenhouse and packing building.

Utsalady Farm now has 9,000 square feet of greenhouses.
