TUALATIN, Ore. (AP) — Police in Tualatin, Ore., say they’ve arrested two 13-year-old boys in a church fire that caused major damage to the facility’s sanctuary, meeting rooms and an attached preschool.

No injuries were reported.

Lt. Greg Pickering said a citizen’s tip led officers to arrest the two Tualatin boys on Monday. Held for investigation of burglary and arson, they were taken to a youth detention center.

The federal bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives had joined local police and fire officials as well as Oregon State Police investigating the three-alarm blaze at the Living Savior Lutheran Church.

Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue spokesman Brian Barker says 60 firefighters battled the fire that broke out early Monday morning. He says crews were driven out of the building due to the volume of fire and concerns about the structural integrity of the building.
