NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Guard Deron Williams and coach Avery Johnson of New Jersey were ejected in the third quarter of the Nets’ game against the Washington Wizards for arguing a non-call on the All-Star’s drive to the basket.

Williams appeared to be hit on the play and lost control of the ball. Washington got a fast break and Williams was called for a foul against Trevor Booker with 5:18 to play.

There was a timeout before the foul shots were taken, and Williams complained to official Leon Wood, who walked away.

Williams went to the bench, where official Josh Tiven hit him with consecutive technical fouls. Jordan Crawford made both free throws. Johnson yelled at Tiven and also got two technical, joining Williams in the locker room.
