MILWAUKEE (AP) — A person with knowledge of the negotiations says veteran free agent center Jeff Saturday has agreed to a deal with the Green Bay Packers.
The person, who requested anonymity because the team has not made an announcement, confirms to The Associated Press that Saturday has an agreement in place with the Packers subject to written confirmation. ESPN reported the deal earlier Friday.
Terms were not immediately available.
The 36-year-old Saturday has started 188 regular season games in 13 NFL seasons.
He replaces Scott Wells, who signed with the St. Louis Rams as a free agent.
