The Columbian
Published: March 26, 2012, 5:00pm

Entries for the fifth annual Visions of Recovery poster contest will be accepted May 9-23.

The event is hosted by Clark County’s Regional Support Network as part of an ongoing effort to reduce stigma associated with mental health and substance use issues.

Anyone who lives or works in Southwest Washington is eligible to enter the contest. Complete contest rules and entry forms are available at http://www.clark.wa.gov/mental-health/recovery.

Winning entries will be placed at select locations throughout the year beginning in May as part of National Mental Health Month. All participants will receive a letter of recognition and certificate. A $50 gift card will be awarded to each of the top five entries.

The community is invited to view and vote for favorite entries from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 29 at the Center for Community Health, 1601 E. Fourth Plain Blvd.

For additional information, call the county’s Department of Community Services at 360-397-2130.
